The Wheel Of Luckery

From Board Game Online Wiki

The Wheel Of Luckery is an event that can be reached with the Wildcard: Flavor Events Neutral Effect from the [The Wheel Of Luckery] option of Wildcard: Flavor Events or from the [A card picturing a spinning clover.] option in Cards Of Fate. It can also simply be a random event.

In the event, you are shown a wheel with 12 equal size circular sectors, with each sector having a visible indicator of a randomly selected result listed below. You target any other player and start spinning the wheel. After 12 seconds of spinning (during which it is not possible to act in this event and the spinning gradually slows), the wheel lands on a result; upon continuing, the result is applied to the targeted player.
You can also use an Improbability Device here to instead go to The Wheel Of Fuckery.

If you try to spin the Wheel while you are Dead or continue after a result is decided (but not yet applied) while you are Dead, you simply leave the event.

Possible Results[edit | edit source]

  • : The wheel gives the target a random Learnable Feat(s) (from 1-2.)
  • : The wheel gives the target an amount of stacks of Empowered Dice (from 1-2.)
  • : The wheel gives the target Star Power.
  • : The wheel gives the target a random item from the Generic item-givers pool
  • : The wheel gives the stated amount of Rupees (from 6-15(?)) to the target's Money.
  • : The wheel chooses the nearest(?) player in front of the target, and they switch spaces with the target.
  • : The wheel gives the target the Overlord Buff.
  • : The wheel gives the target an Artifact. (The specific artifact they will receive is shown on the wheel.)
  • : The wheel gives the target Downie's Gift.
  • : The wheel gives the target a Wildcard. (The specific wildcard they will receive is shown on the wheel.)
  • : The wheel knocks the target forward by the stated amount of spaces (from 5-24(?))

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • For reading numbers on the wheel, to make the numbers right-side up, treat X as being on the left and the number being on the right. "X 6" will be 6, and "9 X" will also be 6. "X 9" will be 9, and "6 X" will also be 9.
  • Dice says "X 2" if it will give 2 stacks of Empowered Dice, though it doesn't actually say "X 1" if it will only give 1 turn; there will be no visible number.
  • Feat says "X 2" if it will give 2 Learnable Feats, though it doesn't actually say "X 1" if it will only give 1 feat; there will be no visible number.
  • Any Artifact and any Wildcard (excluding Wildcard: Shops (Pyramid Trap Card)) can appear on the wheel.
  • In Wild Mode: Racing In Reverse, winning Overlord will instead grant you Underlord.
