Infinity Stones

From Board Game Online Wiki
(Redirected from The Power Stone)

Infinity Stones is a collective name for the group of the 6 following items: The Mind Stone, The Power Stone, The Reality Stone, The Soul Stone, The Space Stone, The Time Stone.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Levels mentioned on this page refer to mastery levels stored in your Infinity Mastery Buff.
  • Base effects can be used without any mastery levels. Level 5 and 15 effects only work (and, in the case of Standard Use options, can only be chosen) if you have at least that many mastery levels for the relevant Stone.
  • If a Stone is "stolen", it is placed on cooldown for 1 turn. If possible, its Standard Use is reset. (Note that a Stone inside the Gauntlet cannot be "stolen"; even if the Gauntlet itself is "stolen", the Stone technically remains in the same inventory.)

Usage[edit | edit source]

Any Infinity Stone[edit | edit source]

Passive Effect[edit | edit source]

  • During each Effects Phase, the Stone removes all enchantments from itself.

Related Effects[edit | edit source]

Standard Use[edit | edit source]

  • Choose one following option. Then, you can either choose to execute its effect or to [<<Go back], cancelling the choice; either way, this item's Standard Use is reset (upon the final use in the case of the Base effect), and it is put on cooldown.
  • Base: Target another player; (up to) 2 (+0.5 per level) random items and skills in the target's inventory which do not have the Passive category are revealed to you. Then, in another use, choose one of the revealed items/skills to force the target to use it. If any player(s) dies directly to this use, you are treated as killing them in relation to the Wild Mode: To Infinity And Beyond effect (even if it would not normally be considered a "kill", as with a Volatile Oil suicide), and the target is NOT treated as killing them in that relation (but the target will still be treated as killing in relation to other effects like Killer Instincts if they normally would be, and the Mind Stone user will not be.)
  • Level 5:
  • If used during another living player's turn control during or after the Effects Phase: You Hypnotize the player currently in control of the turn; this effect lasts until 1 option has been chosen on the current event page, or there is a Forced End, or you leave the game. Also, if you successfully Hypnotized them, you give them 2 turns of Unable To Kill PlayerName.
  • If used while you have turn control or while the player with turn control is Dead or before the Effects Phase or during Round Effects: Nothing occurs besides this item going on cooldown.
  • Level 15: Target any player; make them learn 3 random Learnable Feats which they do not have.
Notes[edit | edit source]
  • The amount of items/skills revealed with the Base effect is rounded down if it would not be a whole number.
  • Regarding the Base effect:
  • The item tooltip only mentions "stealing" Infinity Stones, though you can "steal" The Infinity Gauntlet itself from kills with the Base effect.
  • If the use requires an option or item or skill or target selection, a random one is selected.
  • If the use requires a number in a typing field, a random number within the accepted range is selected.
  • An item or skill on cooldown can be chosen; it will be used successfully, and no extra turns of cooldown are added even if the item or skill has a standard cooldown. However, if an item or skill off cooldown is used, it will go on cooldown if it normally would due to Standard Use. Charges will be consumed as normal.
  • A chosen item or skill can be used successfully even if the target is unable to use items/skills due to being Dead/Reincarnated/Incapacitated/Disarmed/Hypnotized or if the target is alive and the chosen item is Ethereal.
  • The target player is still considered to be the "user" of the item/skill for something like Deadly Illusion.
  • If a revealed item/skill is chosen while it is not in the target's inventory, nothing occurs besides the Stone's Standard Use being reset and the Stone going on cooldown.
  • You can [<<Go back] on each use of the Base effect, not just the 1st use.

Standard Use[edit | edit source]

  • Choose one following option. Then, you can either choose to execute its effect or to [<<Go back], cancelling the choice; either way, this item's Standard Use is reset (upon the final use in the case of the Level 5 effect), and it is put on cooldown.
  • Base: Smash the ground, killing every other player within a 0 (+0.5 per level) space radius of you and Incapacitating every other player within a 0 (+1 per level) space radius of you that is not within the kill radius.
  • Level 5: Target another player. Then, in another use, either choose an amount of spaces from -15 to 15 OR choose to [Do nothing] (which does nothing besides the aforementioned reset/cooldown.)
  • If you choose an amount of spaces and the target is within a 2-space radius of you: Throw the target forward by an amount of spaces equal to the chosen space amount minus the amount of spaces the target is in front of you (all within one action), THEN the target and all players on their space when this portion of the effect triggers are Incapacitated.
  • If you choose an amount of spaces and the target is NOT within a 2-space radius of you: Nothing occurs besides the aforementioned reset/cooldown.
Notes[edit | edit source]
  • The Base effect's kill radius is rounded down if it would end in .5.
  • Regarding the Level 5 effect:
  • If the target is 2 spaces behind you, treat them as being -2 spaces in front of you for this effect.
  • After initiating the throw, Auto Hammer can activate before the Incapacitation occurs for both the target and the players on the landing spot.
  • You can [<<Go back] on each use of the Level 5 effect, not just the 1st use.

Standard Use[edit | edit source]

  • Choose one following option. Then, you can either choose to execute its effect or to [<<Go back], cancelling the choice; either way, this item's Standard Use is reset (upon the final use in the case of the Base effect), and it is put on cooldown.
  • Base: Discover 2 (+1/3 per level) random items from the generic item-givers pool; they become options for the next use. In the next use, choose one of the shown item options. Then, in another use, choose an item you have to transform it into the initial chosen item.
  • Level 5: Target any player; give them 2 random Unstable items from the generic item-givers pool; they are removed from the game during the 3rd Round Effects after this use.
  • Level 15: Target any player:
  • If they are you or your teammate: Remove all Magic Debuffs from that player.
  • If they are an enemy: Remove all Magic Buffs from that player.
Notes[edit | edit source]
  • The amount of items discovered with the Base effect is rounded down if it would not be a whole number.
  • You can [<<Go back] on each use of the Base effect, not just the 1st use.
  • The Level 15 effect cannot remove an Unremovable effect like Doom.
  • If an item created with the Level 5 effect is transformed, it still gets removed from the game during the 3rd Round Effects after the Level 5 effect use.

Standard Use[edit | edit source]

  • Choose one following option. Then, you can either choose to execute its effect or to [<<Go back], cancelling the choice; either way, this item's Standard Use is reset, and it is put on cooldown.
  • Base: Choose a Living item you have. Reduce the cooldown of it by 3 (+0.5 per level). For every 4 overflow cooldown reduction, you gain a random item from the generic Living item-givers pool.
  • Level 5: Choose an item you have. Give it the Living and Soulbound enchantments.
  • Level 15: Choose to move all items inside of the Stone into your inventory OR destroy all items inside of the Stone.
Notes[edit | edit source]
  • The cooldown reduction is rounded down if it would end in .5.
  • You can choose a Living item that normally cannot have a cooldown with the Base effect.
  • You can choose The Soul Stone for the Base effect if it has the Living enchantment. In this case, the cooldown is not reduced, so the overflow is calculated accordingly.
  • "Overflow cooldown reduction" refers to cooldown reduction past what is required to get the chosen item off cooldown. For example, if you would reduce the cooldown of an item that is already off cooldown by 4, the overflow is 4, so 1 item is generated.

Passive Effect[edit | edit source]

  • Passively grants the Ethereal Soul Buff.
  • Level 15: When you kill another player, a random Living item they have is stolen and placed inside The Soul Stone if there's room. (Max. capacity is 4 items.)
Notes[edit | edit source]
  • See Death Tiers for more information on effects like this.
  • The items inside The Soul Stone are effectively treated as being in a non-player inventory, not your own inventory.
  • If you kill another player and gain The Soul Stone, if it is Level 15+ for you, you steal a Living item due to that same kill.

Other Item Use[edit | edit source]

The Space Stone[edit | edit source]

The Space Stone

  • Base: Teleport to a nearby space. Range: 10 (+2 per level)
  • Level 5: Choose an item. Swap it with a random item of another player.

Standard Use[edit | edit source]

  • Choose one following option. Then, you can either choose to execute its effect or to [<<Go back], cancelling the choice; either way, this item's Standard Use is reset (upon the final use in the case of the Level 5 effect), and it is put on cooldown.
  • Base: Choose an amount of spaces from -10 (-2 per level) to 10 (+2 per level); move the same amount of spaces forward.
  • Level 5: Choose a non-Soulbound item you have. Then, in another use, target another player; trade the chosen item with a random non-Soulbound item from that target.
  • Level 15: Choose any space. All players within a 10-space radius of the chosen space move to it.
Notes[edit | edit source]
  • The item choice for the Level 5 effect is considered to be a "use", though it doesn't put the Stone on cooldown.
  • You can [<<Go back] on each use of the Level 5 effect, not just the 1st use.
  • If an item becomes Soulbound after being chosen with the Level 5 effect but before a target player is selected, or your chosen item is not in your inventory when the target player is selected, the trade fails. If the target player has no tradeable items, the trade fails.

Passive Effect[edit | edit source]

  • The Space Stone: Each die you roll in the Roll Phase will always have an outcome of 6. Also, if you would move 1-5 spaces forward in an action, you instead move 6 spaces forward.
