In Teams: Like A Boss , there are two teams: The Boss, and those challenging the Boss. The Boss is the only player on their team. Everyone else is a challenger.
The goal of this mode is for either the Boss or a challenger to meet all win conditions. Only one player on your team needs to win for your entire team to win.
This mode does not add any additional win conditions to Classic Mode or Sprint Mode . It can be selected during Game Creation .
Achievements are disabled in Teams: Like A Boss, with the exception of Boss Mode-specific achievements, achievements in the category Minigames , and the One In A Million achievement.
Select The Boss And The Challenging Team [ edit | edit source ]
Select the Boss:
Here, select the player you would like to be the Boss. If you want, select "Random" for the Boss to be randomly selected.
Challenging team name:
Here, enter the name of the team challenging the Boss. A team name is to be between one and thirty characters.
Challenging team tag:
Here, enter the tag of the team challenging the Boss. A tag is similar to an abbreviation. It will be displayed before the name of each player on that team, in brackets. It is to be between one and three characters.
Starting Space
Here, select the space you want the Boss to start on. It can be any space from zero to one thousand.
Starting Speed
Here, select the speed you want the Boss to start with. It can be any amount from negative fifteen to twenty-five.
Starting Rupees
Here, select the number of rupees you want the Boss to start with. It can be any amount from zero to one thousand.
Starting Items
Here, select the number of items you want the Boss to start with. It can be any amount from zero to twenty-five. Items are drawn from the random item-givers pool.
Arcane Vision
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent Arcane Vision buff.
Artifact Choice
If this box is checked, the Artifact Choice event is queued for the Boss.
Boss Income
If this box is checked, choose how many rupees you want the Boss to gain each turn. You can choose from zero to twenty.
Bounty Hunting
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the Bounty Hunting feat.
Death Timer
If this box is checked, choose how many turns you want the Boss to remain Dead when killed. You can choose from one to three.
Disarm Immunity
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent Disarm Immunity buff.
Ethereal Soul
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent Ethereal Soul buff.
Extra Classes
If this box is checked, choose how many extra Classes you want the Boss to choose in their first turns. You can choose from one to three.
Fire Immunity
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent Fire Immunity buff.
Frost Immunity
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent Frost Immunity buff.
Item Generation
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent Boss Item Generation buff.
Living Bomb
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the Living Bomb buff.
Magical Mind
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent Magical Mind buff.
Mojo
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent Mojo buff.
Overlord
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the Overlord buff.
Poison Immunity
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent Poison Immunity buff.
Scroll Generation
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent Boss Scroll Generation buff.
Skip-A-Turn & Incapacitation Immunity
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent Skip-A-Turn & Incapacitation Immunity buff.
Spell Shield Generation
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent Boss Spell Shield Generation buff.
Tinkering Quietly
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the Tinkering Quietly feat.
Energize
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent Energize skill. You can choose a cooldown between one and twenty turns.
Like A Boss!
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent Like A Boss! skill. You can choose a cooldown between one and twenty turns.
Ni
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent Ni! skill.
"No."
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent "No." skill.
Pacman
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent Pacman skill.
The Force
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent The Force skill.
THIS IS SPARTA!
If this box is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent THIS IS SPARTA! skill.
Travel
If this is checked, the Boss starts off with the permanent Travel skill. You can choose a cooldown between one and twenty turns.
If any of these boxes are checked, the Boss starts off with the corresponding Race(s):
Human
Learn a random feat and another one every 6 turns.
Goblin
You are immune to explosions from bombs and Explosive items.
Orc
You block your next incapacitation. Cooldown: 4 turns
Tigron
Whenever you make a kill, gain Red Meat . Eating Meat moves you 4 more spaces forward.
Tiefling
Whenever one of your items burns, summon 3 random Lesser Demons.
Oni
Your blunt basic melee weapon attacks can no longer be blocked by basic Shields . Knockback increased by 7 spaces.
Abomination
Whenever you kill someone on your space, knock them back 20 spaces.
Terminator
Energy-based items and effects no longer lose Energy per turn.
Arkly
Whenever you skip a turn, gain a random Sparkling Jewel . Cooldown: 1 turn
Wendigo
Whenever you eat, you gain +1 Speed and Frost Immunity for 1 turn. Whenever you kill someone on your space, you gain Red Meat .
Nibblonian
You can eat any Living item, also granting you a +4 Speed Boost for 1 turn. Every 5th time you eat, you poop Concentrated Dark Matter .
Satyr
Whenever you have sex with another player, steal a random item from them.
Unicorn
Whenever you cast a Light Spell on another player, charge 7 spaces forward.
Fairy
Whenever a Spell is cast on you, gain +1 Speed and Floating for 2 turns. This effect can stack to 5 Speed.
Cardassian
When a player blocks your kill, kill them again. Cooldown: 3 turns
Hogger
Food now always moves you its maximum amount of spaces.
Changeling
Every 5 turns, you change into a different race.
Voidcaller
Every 4 turns, summon a random item from the void. It fades away after 1 turn.
Ferengi
You get 30% more Rupees when you sell items at the Pawn Shop and your Bank Account grants 30% more interest.
Revenant
You can use melee weapons while dead. When you're killed, your next melee attack against the killer will become deadly and unblockable.
Protoss
Whenever you haven't moved back for 2 turns, gain a Plasma Shield that absorbs your next backwards movement of 5 spaces or more.
Centaur
All Speed from Boots is doubled. When you use upgraded Boots to move, double the movement. Cooldown: 3 turns
Wraith
Every 3 turns you cast a random Dark Spell with a random target.
Fuzzwuffle
Whenever you are killed, the killer gets -6 Speed for 3 turns.
Djinni
Whenever you move 15 or more spaces forward in a single movement, gain +3 Speed and Floating for 2 turns. Cooldown: 2 turns
Dwarf
You have a Dwarven Mining Pick , Earth Attunement and Spelunking . You're great at mining and have extra success in caves!
Obsidian
You are permanently Silenced and have Spell Immunity .
Time Lord
Every 9 turns you take an extra turn.
Skeksis
Whenever you make a kill, create a Vial Of Essence that grants you an Auto-Resurrection when consumed. Cooldown: 5 turns
Borg
Every 5 turns, you assimilate the race of a random player on your space, adding it to your own.
Dryad
Whenever you haven't killed anyone for 4 turns, grow a random plant item.
