Ring Salesman!

Ring Salesman! was a random event that could only occur during games made during Valentine's Week. It was replaced by the Valentine's Cherub! event.

In the event, you could pay 2 Rupees to receive a Silver Ring, 5 Rupees to receive a Golden Ring, or 8 Rupees to receive a Diamond Ring. You could also simply choose to leave the event.

A fabulous pink man comes skipping out from the bushes! 'Goooood daaaaay! Hahaha! Oh my, you're looking just suuuper today! But sooooomething is missing... Love.' He opens his hands and shows you three rings. 'These rings will allow you to propose to that special someone. Come on then, cutey! Buy a nice one!' [Silver Ring (2 Rupees)] [Golden Ring (5 Rupees)] [Diamond Ring (8 Rupees)] [Leave]

Upon buying a Silver Ring:

Silver Ring
The ring salesman smiles and hands you the Silver Ring. 'It's a bit of a cheap model, but if you love each other the ring doesn't matter.' [Continue] Note: Anyone can accept or decline a wedding proposal made with a Silver Ring.

Upon buying a Golden Ring:

Golden Ring
The ring salesman smiles and hands you the Golden Ring. 'That's a beautiful ring! I'm sure you'll get lucky with that beauty! Wink wink!' [Continue] Note: Only players who do not fancy your gender can decline a wedding proposal made with a Golden Ring.

Upon buying a Diamond Ring:

Diamond Ring
The ring salesman smiles and hands you the Diamond Ring. 'Wow, who could possibly say no to this? I sure couldn't!' [Continue] Note: No one can decline a wedding proposal made with a Diamond Ring.
