Lightsaber

From Board Game Online Wiki
(Redirected from Lightsabers)

Amethyst, Blue, Green, and Red Lightsaber are items. They share an item slot.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • When a Lightsaber is initially created, it has a 10% chance to be Amethyst and a 30% chance each for Blue, Green, and Red.
  • This doesn't apply to when a true copy is made; a true copy always has the same color as the original.

Usage[edit | edit source]

Any Lightsaber[edit | edit source]

Event Use[edit | edit source]

  • Give to the Damaged Construct of the Archaeology Dig. Counts as 1 item.
  • Use against the Small Golem of the Archaeology Dig; fails with 10% or less energy but succeeds with 15% or more energy, and you lose 15% energy on the Lightsaber.
  • Use against The Bear!; with 10% or less energy, the bear kills you, and the Lightsaber is lost; with 15% or more energy, randomly either the bear kills you, and the Lightsaber is lost OR you kill the bear, a Skinning Knife can be used to gain Bearskin, you have a chance to gain the 3 turns of the PETA Debuff, and you lose 15% energy on the Lightsaber.
  • Use against the Dune Guard of the Dungeon Crawl and inflict ??? damage, with more damage inflicted by an Amethyst Lightsaber contrasted with the others and more damage with more remaining energy.
  • Use against the Dune Beetles of the Dungeon Crawl if a dynamite barrel appears.
  • Give to the Party Bear of the Dungeon Crawl

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Lightsabers are all Melee weapons.

Blue, Green, or Red Lightsaber[edit | edit source]

Standard Use[edit | edit source]

  • While you have 15% or more energy:
  • If a player is on your space: Perform a melee attack on a random other living player on your space in order to kill them. This item loses 15% energy.
  • If no player is on your space: Nothing occurs besides this item losing 15% energy.
  • While you have less than 15% energy: This item is removed from your inventory.

Passive Effect[edit | edit source]

  • This item loses 5% energy during each Effects Phase, down to a minimum of 0%.
  • If you would be subject to a melee attack from another player's Blue, Green, or Red Lightsaber while alive, you enter a Lightsaber Battle with the player; randomly either you kill them or they kill you, with a 50% chance for each outcome; only the initiator's Lightsaber loses 15% energy. (Can occur even if the defender's Lightsaber has 0% energy or if the defender is Petrified, Hypnotized, or Blinded. Cannot occur if the would-be defender is Reincarnated, Incapacitated, or Disarmed or if the would-be defender's Lightsaber is Ethereal or Frozen.)
  • If attacked by an Amethyst Lightsaber, there won't be a Lightsaber Battle; you just die.
