Kulu-Ya-Ku

From Board Game Online Wiki

Kulu-Ya-Ku is an item.

Kulu-Ya-Ku
In-Game Description
Tooltip If the Kulu-Ya-Ku does not have an object:

Give your Kulu-Ya-Ku an object, granting it the ability to jump towards nearby players to incapacitate them. Each object grants the Kulu-Ya-Ku 2 charges.

Alternatively, feed your Kulu-Ya-Ku and it'll dig up a rock to incapacitate players with. When this rock breaks after 2 hits, there's a chance it'll contain something useful.

If the Kulu-Ya-Ku has an object:
Order your Kulu-Ya-Ku to incapacitate a nearby player by smacking them in the head with his object.

Usage[edit | edit source]

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • With the exception of true copies, no Kulu-Ya-Ku will be holding an object upon creation.

Standard Use[edit | edit source]

  • If the Kulu-Ya-Ku is not holding an object: Choose another item you have to give it to the Kulu-Ya-Ku; if it was a non-Food item, it becomes an object the Kulu-Ya-Ku holds; if it was a Food item, then the Kulu-Ya-Ku eats it and digs up a rock that it holds. (This use doesn't put this item on cooldown.)
  • If this item is holding an object (including a rock): Target any player.
  • If they are within a 5-space radius of you: Incapacitate them, causing the object this item is holding to lose 1 of its 2 charges.
  • If they aren't within a 5-space radius of you: Nothing occurs besides this item going on cooldown.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Kulu-Ya-Ku is NOT a non-player inventory; when you give the Kulu-Ya-Ku any item, it is instantly destroyed.
  • A charge is still consumed from an object if it's used to attack a Dead player.

Related Effects[edit | edit source]

  • Earth Attunement: Increases the probability of getting an item when a held rock loses its 2nd charge.
