The Infinity Gauntlet
(Redirected from Infinity Gauntlet)
The Infinity Gauntlet and The Completed Infinity Gauntlet are items. They share an item slot.
Usage[edit | edit source]
The Infinity Gauntlet or The Completed Infinity Gauntlet[edit | edit source]
Passive Effect[edit | edit source]
- During each Effects Phase, the Gauntlet removes all enchantments from itself.
- All the passives of the inserted Infinity Stones apply as though they were in your inventory.
The Infinity Gauntlet[edit | edit source]
Standard Use[edit | edit source]
- Choose an Infinity Stone you have to put it into the Gauntlet and gain one of the following one-time bonuses related to the inserted Stone:
- Mind: Give all other players 6 turns of Unable To Kill PlayerName.
- Power: Gain 6 stacks of Empowered Dice and incapacitate all other players.
- Reality: Gain 6 random items from the generic item-givers pool.
- Soul: Gain 6 turns of Temporary Death Immunity.
- Space: Move 66 spaces forward.
- Time: Reset all of your cooldowns and gain the Time Stone Buff for 6 turns.
- Time Stone: During the Effects Phase when this effect wears off, all of your cooldowns are reset.
- If the last Stone is inserted into the Gauntlet, it transforms into The Completed Infinity Gauntlet.
- Choose an Infinity Stone which is in the Gauntlet which is off cooldown. Then, you can either use the chosen Stone as if it were not in the Gauntlet (invoking the same cooldown as normal) or choose [<<Go back to Gauntlet] to cancel using the chosen Stone; the latter has no cooldown penalty.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- The Stones inside the Gauntlet are effectively treated as being in a non-player inventory, not your own inventory.
- The inserted Stones are not in your inventory, so their cooldowns will not be affected by something like the Time Stone Buff.
Inherent Effect[edit | edit source]
Time Stone (Buff) Tooltip You inserted your Time Stone in your Infinity Gauntlet. When this effect triggers, all your cooldowns reset.
Related Effects[edit | edit source]
The Completed Infinity Gauntlet[edit | edit source]
Standard Use[edit | edit source]
- Use one of the following powers if you've used the Completed Gauntlet less than 41 times already:
- Ultimate Mind: You "steal" 1 random item from each other player essentially, though it's not treated as stealing.
- Ultimate Power: Meet a win condition.
- Like a standard win condition, you win when a turn ends (or in-between Round Effects and a turn) after meeting a condition. Unlike the primary win condition for a Classic or Sprint game, you cannot lose this win condition; supposing you cannot currently win the game due to something like Denied, you'll retain the condition for later application without the possibility of losing it.
- Ultimate Reality: Gain 2 random items from the generic item-givers pool.
- Ultimate Soul: In a 2nd use: Target another player; kill them; death blockers cannot activate in response. This resets this item's Standard Use.
- Ultimate Space: In a 2nd use: Target any player. In a 3rd use: Choose any space; teleport the targeted player to that space. This resets this item's Standard Use.
- Ultimate Time: Reset all of your cooldowns.
- If you've used the Completed Gauntlet 41 times already, regardless of the choice you make: If you are Denied or Dead, the effects are removed from you (even if Denied is being passively granted), you meet a win condition, and the current turn ends instantly (or Round Effects ends if Round Effects is active); unlike with a Forced End, there is no Forced End event. (As a result, win conditions are literally checked instantly.)
- If you are Reincarnated, the effect is NOT removed by the 42nd use.
- If you've used the Completed Gauntlet 42+ times already: Nothing occurs.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- The 2nd and 3rd uses of Soul and Space are not subject to the 5 second cooldown.
- While the 2nd and 3rd uses of Soul and Space are available, you have to use them before regaining the ability to use other powers.
- Unable To Kill PlayerName can prevent Ultimate Soul from killing a player.
- If you are Reincarnated in a Survival game or have a teammate(s) in All For One that hasn't met a win condition, when you use The Completed Infinity Gauntlet a 42nd time, you don't win instantly. Gaining Denied (or being Dead in a Survival game) afterward will prevent you from winning as normal. However, if you're Denied at the time of the 42nd Gauntlet use, your passive granters of Denied malfunction afterwards and will have to be removed from you to begin working properly again; simply extending an effect like Temporarily Denied will fail to restart its generation of Denied.
Passive Effect[edit | edit source]
- Passively grants Death Immunity.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- If a player tries to kill you with an item like Brahmastra while you have the Completed Gauntlet, they fail to kill you; the Gauntlet cannot be destroyed, so the Death Immunity remains intact and blocks the death.
