Gandalf The White

Gandalf The White can be reached from Gandalf The Grey by using an Improbability Device or from the White Figure event. It can also simply be a random event.

In the event, you can make one of the following choices:

Go Forward!: Gandalf escorts you 18-26 spaces forward with the help of Shadowfax.

You can use a Pocket Ball to try to capture Shadowfax after moving forward; this can fail. If successfully caught, the Gandalf event will be queued with a 3-4 turn delay. If attempted but failed, you will move 6-8 spaces back and receive the Skip-A-Turn status.
If you find this event while Shadowfax is in a Filled Pocket Ball, the Go Forward! option won't be available.

The Two Speed!: Gandalf magically enhances your permanent Speed by 2.
Auto-Resurrection!: Gandalf casts a spell on you giving you the Auto-Resurrection Buff.
A Random, Charged Wand!: A Charged Dark Wand or Charged Light Wand with a random rare spell will be added to your inventory.

This is a special location for the Bug Net. Items which can be caught include: Arctic Blue Butterfly, Brimstone Butterfly, Butter Fly, Funereal Dusky-Wing Butterfly, Monarch Butterfly, and Painted Lady Butterfly.
Choosing an option while Dead simply makes you leave the event.

Gandalf escorts you for X spaces with the help of Shadowfax. [Continue] Try to catch this creature:

Pocket Ball, GO!
Shadowfax drops you off, but when Gandalf's fabled horse turns around to find its master again, you quickly throw your Pocket Ball! The mighty horse is caught, but the Pocket Ball keeps wiggling! After a few seconds, the ball stops wiggling... Let's hope Gandalf doesn't find you... [Success!]
