Food

From Board Game Online Wiki

Food is an inventory category.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • The primary characteristic of Food items is that they can be eaten. Most can be eaten through their Standard Use.
  • The Food enchantment is distinct from the Food permanent category. The enchantment adds a Standard Use in pop-up form that allows you to directly eat the enchanted item, with the pop-up sharing any existing Standard Use for the enchanted item even if its Standard Use had no pop-up before. This use is available even if the item is on cooldown or if it has the Passive category.
  • If you eat an item that doesn't have Food as an inherent category (like what is possible with the Food enchantment or Race: Nibblonian), you will move forward an amount of spaces equal to a random value from 1/3 to 2/3 the standard shop price of the item, rounded to the nearest whole number.
  • The minimum floor for this is 1 space, while the minimum ceiling is 2 spaces; supposing you have Race: Hogger, you will move 2 spaces forward when eating an item with a 0 Rupee price (like Ball & Chain.)
  • The maximum ceiling for this is 40 spaces; supposing you have Race: Hogger, you will move only 40 spaces forward when eating an item with a 1500 Rupee price (like Diss Card: Shift.)
