Demonic Pentagram

From Board Game Online Wiki

Demonic Pentagram is an event that can be reached with the Wildcard: Flavor Events Neutral Effect from the [The Pentagram] option of Wildcard: Flavor Events, the talented Trade Routes event, the Going to: Event Neutral Effect from Scout The Area or Spyglass's [The Pentagram] option, the Eye Of The Graeae event, the Khufu's Journey event, or from the [A card picturing a demonic symbol.] option in Cards Of Fate. It can also simply be a random event.

In the event, you can either:

  • Choose [Nope] to simply leave the event.
  • Choose 1 item to sacrifice in order to have 5 random Lesser Demons shown. Select and receive 1 of the 5, then select and receive 1 of the remaining 4.

  • If you choose either Demon while Dead, you do not receive it, and you simply leave the event.

Event Text[edit | edit source]

  • Upon encounter:
Demonic Pentagram

You stand in front of a demonic pentagram. It seems like someone has been preparing for a demonic summoning ritual. Well, whoever was going to summon those demons doesn't seem to be around right now... Shall we summon ourselves a demon or two?

Sacrifice an item to complete the ritual:

  • Selecting the sacrifice option:
You throw your X into the pentagram and watch it burst into demonic flames!

It's... gone!
Alright, time to summon some demons! This particular pentagram was set up to summon 2 demons from a list of 5. Let's pick the first one!

  • Upon selecting a Demon in the Sacrifice! subevent:
That's One...
You summon a X!

Awesome! The pentagram still holds power, so let's summon a second demon!

  • Upon selecting a Demon in the That's One... subevent:
...And That's Two!
You summon a X!

Sweet! The pentagram seems to have run out of juice, so you quickly walk away! Job well done!

  • Upon selecting the [Nope] option:
No Thanks!
You walk away from the pentagram. It's not yours to use anyway.
