Decursed Cat Collar and Decolored Decursed Cat Collar are items. They share an item slot.

Usage[edit | edit source]

Arcane Vision: When you try to use a (Decolored) Decursed Cat Collar standardly with this effect, you notice some glowing runes. In the log, a message only visible to you appears. The message shows 6 Diablo number runes; the runes can be interpreted at this Diablo 2 Wiki page. The 6 numbers correspond to 6 different spaces and are listed in the order that the Activate Runes Of Guidance skill must be used on those spaces to gain varying Rupees amounts for each space and, upon using it on the 6th space, gain the Following The Ley Lines Buff connected to a queue for the Following The Ley Lines event. Note that the 6 numbers are randomized for each game when the game begins.

Give to Deckard Cain; he has some special flavor text and then simply returns the Collar. (The Collar technically never leave your inventory.)

Give to Marceline in Ooo. She reads the runes on the collar and tells you them in the event's flavor text, also she transforms it into the Decolored Decursed Cat Collar and gives it back. (The Collar technically never leaves your inventory.)

Attempt to give to Marceline in Ooo; she Incapacitates you and sends you back 17-21(?) spaces. (The Collar technically never leaves your inventory.)

After using a Pocket Ball on Salem in The Magic Shop and blocking the collar's Curse with spell protection, use the Divine Blessing skill, the Dispel Magic skill, or any magical item charged with the Remove Curse Spell.
