Usage

Standard Use

• Choose another item with the Food category you have, feeding it to your Caterpillar and adding a stack to the Caterpillar (or 2 stacks if the Food was Delicious.)

Passive Effect

• If the Caterpillar's amount of stacks reaches 3, it transforms into a Cocoon.

Event Use

• Feed to the Starving Monster of the Archaeology Dig. Counts as 1 food item.

Strategy

• Enchanters can easily manipulate the Caterpillar's growth to a butterfly of their desire. The only difficulty is granting Delicious, which requires it to be Food.
• A Spice Weasel can make it Food, allowing it to thereby become Delicious. Szechuan Sauce can do both in one swoop.
• Eating Sliced Bread, then feeding your Caterpillar will give it 4 of the enchantments you need for Queen Alexandra's Birdwing. You still need Sparkling and Ethereal from other sources.
