Standard Use[edit | edit source]
- If used without being at a special location: You have a chance to catch an item out of the following pool: Any Butterfly (excluding Queen Alexandra's Birdwing), Bookworm, Caterpillar, D-Bug, Fireflies, Jar Of Ants, Lucky Cricket, Rhinoceroach, Scarab, Spelling Bee
- If used at a special location: See under Event Use.

- When you use the Bug Net at any special location, you have a chance to obtain the following:
- Deadly Pyramid: Scarab
- Gandalf The Grey/Gandalf The White: Any Butterfly (excluding Queen Alexandra's Birdwing)
- Ninjas: Lucky Cricket
- Prehistory: Trilobite
- Sasha Lore's Mobile Library: Bookworm
- The Abandoned Mine: Fireflies
- The Future: D-Bug
- The Glacier: Arctic Blue Butterfly
- The Haunted Mansion's Graveyard: Funereal Dusky-Wing Butterfly
- The Jungle: Any Butterfly (excluding Queen Alexandra's Birdwing), Bookworm, Caterpillar, D-Bug, Fireflies, Lucky Cricket, Rhinoceroach, Scarab, Spelling Bee
- The Wizard Shop: Bookworm

- There is no in-event button for using the Bug Net at a special location. It must be done through the inventory.
- Chances of gaining a Butterfly item when using the Bug Net standardly or at The Jungle are much lower than the chances of gaining another item from the same pool.
