- Neither Bat item is considered to be a melee item for effects like Hallucination, Thick Hide, Spiked Protection, Fizzgig, etc.

Standard Use[edit | edit source]
- Choose to swing forwards or backwards. You hit all other players 1 space away from you in the chosen direction, knocking each of them 2-3 spaces away from you in the chosen direction, Incapacitating them, and making each of them forget a random (learned) Learnable Feat they have.

Standard Use[edit | edit source]
- Choose to swing forwards or backwards. You hit all other players 1 space away from you in the chosen direction, knocking each of them 15-18 spaces away from you in the chosen direction, Incapacitating them, and making each of them forget a random (learned) Learnable Feat they have. Also, there is a 25% chance for you to kill each hit player.
- If the hit player is killed, a random player with Gloves who is 10-30 spaces behind the space the hit player was on at the moment of impact will gain either a Skull or a Human Brain. If no player in that range has Gloves, a random player will be incapacitated unless they have a War Helmet.

- The Baseball Bat was made as a hint to Downie being a sports fan. While an American Football would've been an item Downie would've created, AmIKawaiiUguu already made the Handegg at the time, so the Baseball Bat was the secondary idea.
- The Home Run Bat was inspired by the Super Smash Bros. series item.
