In-Game Description
Tooltip	Stab another player on your space through the heart to kill them. If, for whatever reason, your target didn't die, they will take the stake from you and reset its cooldown! Yikes!

Standard Use

• Target another player.

• If they are on your space and are alive: Perform a melee attack on them in order to kill them. Then, if your Stake made contact with the target but they are still alive, they steal your Stake; if the Stake is successfully stolen due to this effect, its cooldown is reset.
• If they are not on your space or are Dead: Nothing occurs besides the Stake going on cooldown.

Notes

• Wooden Stake is a basic sharp melee weapon.
• See Melee-Triggered Effects for more information on effects like the Stake theft.
• If your attack is evaded (e.g. by Hallucination), this item's contact effects won't trigger.
• The theft and cooldown reduction can activate even if the Stake is Frozen by Algid Revenge.

In-Game Description
Tooltip	Stab another player on your space through the heart to kill them. If the target died and had a Curse, all their Curses will be removed and you gain Angelic Wings for 1 turn per Curse removed. Angelic Wings grants you +7 Speed and Floating. If, for whatever reason, your target didn't die, they will take the stake from you and reset its cooldown! Yikes!

Standard Use

• Target another player.

• If they are on your space and are alive: Perform a melee attack on them in order to kill them. Then, if your Stake made contact with the target but they are still alive, they steal your Stake; if the Stake is successfully stolen due to this effect, its cooldown is reset. If your Stake made contact with the target and they are Dead, remove all Curses from them, and gain 1 turn of Angelic Wings for each Curse you removed.

• Angelic Wings: Passively grants 7 temporary Speed and Floating.

• If they are not on your space or are Dead: Nothing occurs besides the Stake going on cooldown.
