Usage[edit | edit source]
Standard Use[edit | edit source]
- You can set the Phaser to [Tickle], [Stun], or [Kill]. This action causes your Phaser to lose 5% energy. (If your Phaser has less than 5% energy already, instead the Phaser is removed from the game.)
- You can target another player. If your Phaser is set to...
- Tickle: Effectively nothing happens aside from a sound effect playing and a log entry being added. This action causes your Phaser to lose 15% energy. (If your Phaser has less than 15% energy already, instead the Phaser is removed from the game.)
- Stun: The target becomes Incapacitated. This action causes your Phaser to lose 40% energy. (If your Phaser has less than 40% energy already, instead the Phaser is removed from the game.)
- Kill: You kill the target. This action causes your Phaser to lose 90% energy. (If your Phaser has less than 90% energy already, instead the Phaser is removed from the game.)
Notes[edit | edit source]
- The Phaser is initially set to Tickle when obtained.
- Firing the Phaser doesn't change the setting it's on.
Passive Effect[edit | edit source]
- This item loses 5% energy during each Effects Phase, down to a minimum of 0%.
Event Use[edit | edit source]
- Give to the Damaged Construct of the Archaeology Dig. Counts as 1 item.
- Use against the Small Golem of the Archaeology Dig.
- If on Tickle setting, it fails.
- If on Stun setting with at least 40% energy, succeeds vs the Lv 2 or 3 Small Golem and loses 40% energy.
- If on Stun setting, fails vs the Lv 4 Small Golem.
- If on Stun setting with less than 40% energy or Kill setting with less than 90% energy, it fails.
- If on Kill setting with at least 90% energy, succeeds vs. any Lv of Small Golem and loses 90% energy.
- Upon any failure with the Phaser against the Small Golem, your Phaser loses no energy.
- Use against the Dune Beetles of the Dungeon Crawl if a dynamite barrel appears; consumes the Phaser entirely and succeeds even with 0% energy.
